The Young Liar
I'm a huge fan of movies, videogames, comics, retro versions of the three previously mentioned things, and any nostalgic geeky stuff. Add me on aim, at Talkyness.
leftcoastjane:Happy birthday song to… MOI!!
I was actually watching the movie just yesterday O_O This song is great, but “Moving Right Along” is my favorite from the film. Fozzie and Kermit are my “flight of the conchords” band :D
Limited Edition Print of the Day: Fernando Reza’s “Day Jobs” pays nerdy, Easter Egg-laden homage “to the hard working men and women who keep our beloved fictional companies going.”
Printed on Rolodex-ready business card stock. Extremely limited run of 20 S+N 11” x 17” prints are available here for $25/pop.
Bonus: A reblogger who successfully names the origin of each fictional company in their reblog by noon tomorrow (9/1) will be chosen by Reza at random, and he/she will receive a free print.
Good luck!

Top 10 Things Today’s Kids Will Never Experience
The class of 2014 doesn’t wear watches, doesn’t write in cursive and has no idea why Nirvana is awesome. That’s according to Beloit College’s annual Mindset List, aimed at helping teachers understand today’s cultural references. TIME takes a look at other bygone experiences today’s kids will miss.
- Camera Film
- Landline Phones
- Real Books
- Being Lost
- Music Videos on MTV
- Walkmans
- The Glory Days of Nick at Nite
- Tan M&Ms
- Czechoslovakia
- Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Terminator
Glad to be rid of camera film, I disagree with Landline Phones since even I still use landline, disagree with real books since schools won’t give kids Kindles to read, Being Lost? eh.. depends on if they’re roadtripping through texas. Music videos on MTV? When did this ever happen? Hated walkmans, agree with Nick at Nite (even though i always hated saying that phrase), yes and yes, and yes they will miss the Terminator.
My second review is up! go read it and comment if you can! also if you want, follow me on twitter.
